Medveď a maturanti na Bujdoške

Po troch rokoch, keď sme sa zišli ako šesťdesiatnici – maturanti SVŠ Šahy, sme sa dožili ďalšieho jubilea. Dôvodom na stretávku bolo uplynutie 45 rokov od našej maturity. V tom čase sa tešila Bujdoška celoštátnej pozornosti, lebo sa v nej potuloval statný medveď. A tak Gabo, ktorý mal prezývku Bubu (po známom rozprávkovom medveďovi z čias našej puberty), nebol na stretnutí osamelý. Robili sme mu spoločnosť aj my ďalší, ktorí sme už viac  bez seba nemohli vydržať. Ako obvykle sa fotilo o dušu. 

      Pre tých, čo s nami neprežili deň, noc a ďalšie dopoludnie posielam obrazové spravodajstvo. Tešíme sa, že o dva roky bude ďalšie okrúhle výročie nášho veku a určite si ho spolu vychutnáme.

Bear And Former Classmates At Bujdoska

Three years after the time when we came together as the 60-year old former classmates of the SVŠ School Šahy, we enjoyed another anniversary. During this time Bujdoška enjoyed the attention of the entire nation because of a brawny bear who chose it as its settlement. So Gabo, aka Bubu (after a famous fairy tale bear from the time of our youth) wasn’t the only one of his kind at our get-together. He was of course accompanied also by the rest of us, who couldn’t wait any longer to meet again. Tons of pictures were taken, as usual.

Svadby v Demandiciach

Leto a dlhé dni sa pominuli a tak mám opäť čas vyprázdniť pamäťovú kartu fotoaparátu a spomienkami na toto leto doplniť stránky môjho blogu. Naposledy som sa ozval s pozvánkou na výstavu fotografií, ktorú som usporiadal v rámci obecných slávností. Na rozdiel od ostatných podujatí, nás v útrobách kultúrneho domu dážď neprekvapil a tak si tí, ktorí prišli, mohli prezrieť desiatky fotografií dokumentujúcich svadobné obyčaje v Demandiciach. Keďže pre iné akcie bolo po dvoch dňoch potrebné výstavné priestory uvoľniť, dávam týmto možnosť pozrieť si, ako to bolo na výstave a na svadbách v minulosti.

Weddings In Demandice

With the summer and its long days gone, yet again I have some time to empty the memory card of my camera and use its treasures to enrich these blog pages. My last entry included the invitation to the Photography Exhibition  that was organised by me as a part of the Village Festival. Unlike to the other events, the rain posed no inconvenience to us in the shelter of our courthouse. So those who came had a wonderful opportunity to look through dozens of old photographs documenting the wedding customs of Demandice. Since the courthouse premises had to be vacated and prepared for some other events after mere two days, I’ve decided to give more of you the opportunity to see what the exhibition looked like for yourselves right here on my blog.
