V auguste roku 2008 som s pomocou niekoľkých vrstovníkov organizoval „Deň rodákov“ s cieľom stretnúť sa v rodnej obci a zaspomínať na desaťročia života, ktoré sme spoločne prežili v údolí potoka Búr. Za pomoci obce sme sa po tri roky stretali v komornej atmosfére spoločenskej sály. Po nástupe nového vedenia obce v roku 2010 podujatie prerástlo do „Dní obce“. Za ten čas sme v Demandiciach zhliadli množstvo umeleckých vystúpení a viacero iných podujatí. Z ich konania som v obecnej galérii sústredil fotodokumentáciu zväčša vytvorenú Ladislavom Tomisom, s mojim prispením, ako aj s prispením niektorých iných miestnych nadšencov amatérskej fotografie. The 5th annual “Village Days”
In August 2008, with help from several friends, I got to organize “The Day of Native Sons and Daughters” with the aim to meet in our native village, think back and talk about the decades of our lives that we had spent together in the valley of the Bur. With the help of our village administration we kept meeting in the “common hall” for the following three years. After the elections and changes “at the helm” of our village in 2010, these meetings grew into “The Village Days”. Since then we have witnessed many artistic as well as other performances. I have collected and displayed a lot of photographs from these past “Village Days” in our village gallery. Most of them were taken by Ladislav Tomis and some of them by me alongside some other local amateur photographers. You can also have a look at a part of these photographs below.
